Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn and his wife/actress Robin Wright Penn are getting divorced after 11 years of marriage.
The 47-year-old actor-director’s longtime publicist, Mara Buxbaum, refused to provide details on the split, reports E! Online.
The couple began dating about a year after Penn ended his four-year marriage to pop diva Madonna in 1989.
Sean and Robin moved in together in 1991 and finally tied the knot in 1996.
The duo, who fell in love on the set of the 1990 thriller ‘State of Grace,’ have two kids, 16-year-old Dylan Frances and 14-year-old Hopper Jack.
Robin was previously married to actor Dane Witherspoon from 1986 to 1988
