British supermodel Sophie Anderton has been taken to rehab following a breakdown over her exposed image as a drug-pushing prostitute.
The former Gossard lingerie model is believed to have checked into the Priory clinic to receive treatment for drug addiction and severe depression.
"She's been screaming and crying down the phone, yelling, 'It's all over'. Sophie is absolutely shattered. Everyone is terrified about her state of mind," The Sun quoted a family friend, as saying.
Anderton's mother Sue and stepdad John Deacon issued a statement saying their daughter was going in for treatment and asking that she be left alone.
"Sue and John have been worried sick. But hopefully she is in the right place now," the friend added.
The 30 year-old model went into depression after a newspaper revealed that she sold her body for 10,000 pounds a night and offered cocaine to an undercover journalist.
The reporter snapped the model stripping to her knickers and stilettos and boasting: "I'm great at sex. I'm a supermodel."
Anderton was dumped from a 100,000 pounds job promoting a tanning product the very next day.
