Texting to our friends has become such a routine task in our lives that there is a growing community of people who suffer from sleep texting, i.e texting when they are feeling sleepy.
Health experts say that this condition is similar to sleep walking where in we walk while we are asleep.
A Facebook page on sleep texting has attracted thousands of members who admit that they text when they are sleeping and some even admit that they hold long conversations but remember very little, if any, about it when they are fully awake.
The experts added that this condition is more apparent if a person takes sleep medications such as Ambien or is suffering from sleep disorder. The best way to avoid sleep texting is to make sure that your smartphones are switched off and are not within the reach of your bed.
