Scientist Succumbs After Consuming Lauki Juice
"No doctor told us to have vegetable juice. We were inspired by Baba Ramdev's suggestions and his programmes on the television. I will never ever listen to his suggestions again," Neeraj, the wife of Mr Saxena, told India Today. Neeraj was also taken ill after consuming the juice, but survived.
The two were rushed to a CGHS dispensary on taking ill after consuming the juice, but Saxe3na passed after before he could be examined by doctors. Both Saxena and his wife were diabetic and were consuming the juice for the last 4years.
The incident highlights the dangers associated with herbal remedies in a new way.
