It is not worth working for more than 40 hours per week as such workers experience negative energy which can hamper their productivity.

Lack of interest in work, anger, irritability and fatigue are some of the signs of overwork and can lead to burn out.

Burnout syndrome can also affect people who are in monotonous jobs for more than a decade which worsens due to lack of recognition.

But the silver lining is that when people enjoy a healthy family life, it can offset burn out syndrome.
