Report Rubbishes Steve Jobs Death Claims As Hoax
Reports claiming that Apple chief Steve Jobs had died after a cardiac arrest were 'bogus'.

The fake story under the name of reporter John C Abell was published on the website of Wired magazine.

However, Abell has dismissed the reports, claiming the story was the work of prankster who hacked into the website of Wired magazine and published the hoax themselves before spreading the link on social networks.

"A widely-circulated URL... that purports to be a Wired.com story about Steve Jobs' health is a hack job," Fox News quoted Abell as saying.

"I've written a number of stories about Jobs health hoaxes... but the true author of this crude fake, which hit far closer to home, remains a mystery," he added.
