Many parents include prepackaged items in children's lunchbox, often the child's favorite, in a bid to make it more interesting for the children.

Experts caution that parents must look into the nutritional information of these prepackaged items as some of them contain elevated levels of salt and sugar.  

Out of 1000 parents who answered a survey, nearly eight out of ten confessed that they included prepackaged items in the lunches.  

Even though these products are handy in packing lunch for children, they do not provide adequate nutrition. Infact, they cause more harm than good.
