According to reports, the people involved are using albums with pictures of girls and visiting cards to market their businesses, the Nation reported. The trade is flourishing in around 1,000 hotels and guesthouses of the city, with houses in the slums and posh areas also being available for rent.

Most of the girls can be seen standing on Minar-e-Pakistan, Data Darbar, Lahore Railway Station, Canal Road, Gulberg, and parks adjacent to Punjab University (New Campus).

The police is said to have knowledge about such dens but refuse to take action against them.
