Present Lifestyle Blamed for Rise in Number of Cancer Cases
The number of cancer cases has risen drastically in the 21st century and is predicted to go up even more, mainly fueled by unhealthy lifestyles in present times.
According to estimates, nearly 12.6 million cancer cases were diagnosed in 2008. Forecasts show that this figure may rise to 21 million by 2030.

The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) has blamed the present day lifestyle for the rise in number of cancer cases. The main reasons are unhealthy diet, obesity and sedentary lifestyle and immense stress.

Cancer still remains one of the biggest challenges in medicine today.
