Pete Doherty Using Meditation to Kick Drug Addiction
Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty is using meditation to fight his drug addiction and to make himself concentrate on the upcoming band's UK tour.

The 28-year-old singer's bandmate, drummer Adam Ficek, said that it was he who got Doherty into meditation.

"You won't believe it but Pete is actually meditating next door, right now," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

"I've got him into it. I do a lot of Tai Chi. Stranger things have happened in the world of Babyshambles," he added.

Doherty completed a six-week stint in rehab earlier this year to kick his heroin addiction, and is currently using martial arts to help cure his addictions.
