Troubled former England football star Paul Gascoigne, 40, has checked himself back into the Priory clinic just weeks after his release from a secure psychiatric unit.
The ex-England star is being treated for alcoholism and depression, The Sun reported.
A fellow patient said: "I asked him how he was doing and he said, 'I'm on the mend, I should be out of here soon.'
"He looked frail and thin but not in too bad a shape considering what a rough time he's had over the last few months," he added.
A month ago Gazza was released from a psychiatric unit at Middleton St George Hospital in Co Durham. He was detained following a two-month drink and drugs bender.
