Recent mobile phone applications may be of help in treating post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), a new insight has revealed.

Applications like 'T2 Mood Tracker,' 'PTSD Coach' and 'Breathe2Relax' are a boon to war veterans suffering from anxiety, stress and mood problems. Although these applications cannot replace psychiatric counseling, they can adequately support such forms of therapy.

These applications provide sufficient information about post traumatic stress disorder with tips to manage the symptoms. The Mood Tracker application allows users to give a name to their mood and helps record their changing moods.
