Indeed it is about the unforgettable 'Pregnant man, Thomas Beatie', who had appeared on photographs with a beard and a pregnancy bulge way back in 2007. The headlines were sensational which said, "The world's first pregnant man".

A bit into his past- Beatie was born in 1974 as a female. She was named Tracy Lagondino.

Tracy underwent a sex-reassignment surgery in 2002 which altered her gender from female to male. Tracy Lagondino, then, came to be known as Thomas Beatie.

When Tracy underwent the surgery in 2002, she had decided to leave her reproductive organs untouched. She had also left one aspect incomplete and had decided not to undergo phalloplasty, which involves the  creation of an artificial penis.

Beatie took a decision in 2007 to bear children after his wife Nancy discovered her inability to conceive. Beatie has borne three children -a daughter and two sons born through artificial insemination using donor sperm.

Beatie recently said during a show that he was seriously considering a hysterectomy to stop having more kids. He also mentioned his wish to get back his pre-pregnancy weight.
