A pregnant woman in the second trimester of her pregnancy, who was diagnosed of Myeloid Leukemia (blood cancer which is rare below 50years) and had refused to take treatment rather than aborting the baby, is celebrating the birth of a healthy daughter. During a routine blood test in the fifth month of pregnancy, Victoria Webster, 33, was diagnosed with cancer.
Doctors pleaded with her to have a late termination so that she could begin with a course of life-saving chemotherapy. At the same time they warned her that the medication could kill her unborn daughter. However Victoria decided to keep her baby and delay her treatment. Now the baby is 10months old and Victoria is responding well to the cancer treatment.

I had already bonded with my baby while she was growing inside me and as her mum, I had to protect her. It's the best decision I have ever made. I can't imagine my life without my daughter.
