Mixing Alcohol and Energy Drinks Fraught With Risks
A study has revealed the inherent risks of mixing alcohol and energy drinks, a combination which is intensely stimulating, promoting impulsive behavior and impairing  judgement.
A combination of caffeine and alcohol in drinks, banned by FDA, may not have a noticeable impact on the ‘lack of inhibitions’ that drinkers experience after consuming alcohol. But, the level of stimulation increases and worse, the capacity to judge drops.

Study researcher Cecile Marczinski, PhD, an assistant professor of psychology at Northern Kentucky University said, ''Even alcohol alone will make you feel stimulated and happy. Mixing in the energy drink makes that more pronounced. Energy drinks have tons of caffeine in them, more than mixing a soft drink in alcohol.''
