'Miracle' Mother of Septuplets Took Fertility Drugs For a Male Child
Dr.Emad Darwish, head of the Al Shatbi hospital in Alexandria where the 27-year-old woman delivered her seven babies said the extremely rare case was a result of taking fertility drugs. Khamis entered hospital during the 26th week of her pregnancy.
“We tried hard to push her pregnancy until the 36th week,” Darwish said. The babies, four boys and three girls, weighed between 1.4 and 2kg.
Khamis is the mother of three other girls. According to Dr.Darwish,her desire for a son made her take fertility drugs.
