Men in Mid-life Crisis are the Least Happy
Men in the age group between late thirties and early forties are the least happy people, a new survey has revealed.

The survey, a part of the British Market Research Bureau survey of Britons' attitudes towards themselves, found that passing of prime or attempt to cope with family responsibilities makes men discontented during mid-life crisis than any other time in life.

Men in the age group rank below women in all ages, students and old people, reports the Daily Mail.

It was found that it is not till 65 that men start enjoying their life as much as they do when they are in their teens or early twenties

For the study, more than 1,600 people were asked to rate their well being on a scale of one to ten,Majority of the men rated the age of 16-24 as the happiest days, with an average score of 7.55 on ten.

During the middle of their career, the satisfaction index fell to 6.8 and later rose to 7.8 at retirement age.

The survey also found that during teens women are less cheerful than men, as their well-being scores were at 7.3 on an average.

For women, their low time is between 25 and 34, when they start to deal with young children, but their satisfaction levels rose firmly as they get older, reaching 7.65 at above 65 years of age.

Largely, the satisfaction level for both sexes was at 7.3.
