Meet The Brit Mum Who Has Had 120 Strokes in 10 Years

Media reports indicate that a British mum of three has suffered an astonishing 120 strokes in ten years.

Sharon Bowie from Droitwich, Worcestershire, had her first stroke at the age of 27, and though they were mostly "mini strokes" they left her temporarily paralysed down her right side and with slurred speech.

But six months ago a major one left the ex-fruit shop worker, now 37, in a wheelchair.

"I couldn't believe it when I had my first - I thought strokes only happened to old people," the Sun quoted her as saying.

Doctors blamed it on a heart valve she was fitted with as a teenager, from a pig, that had become worn out.

It was replaced with a mechanical one, but the strokes have gone on and on, baffling medics.

"We've got used to coping with them," her hubby Mark, 39, who is stepdad to Sharon's kids Kieran, 17, Josh, 12, and Mikaila, 15, stated.
