The Maharashtra State Government has decided to award the blood bank run by the Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi for its continuous efforts to collect and give the blood to the needy patients.
This award was accepted by Sunil Karjule from Maharashtra Health Minister Dr. Vimaltai Mundada.This blood bank is motivating the blood doors in the rural area. The devotees also donate the blood on every Thursday and Sunday.
In all 7300 persons donated blood in 2007. This blood is supplied to Ahmadnagar, Nasik and Aurangabd Districts.
