We always look at macho men as risk takers especially in sexual matters, but a recent study has disproved this belief.
The study says that men with high levels of sex hormone appear to exercise more caution in bedroom matters, which means they more likely to have protected sex.
Among youngsters, safe sexual practices are sometimes looked down upon especially among peers in the 18-19 age groups. Even in such a situation, men with higher testosterone levels preferred protected sex, even at the risk of being derided upon.
On the contrary, men with lower testosterone levels showed reticence in using condoms especially if they felt that such a move would make them an outcast from their peer group. Such men preferred to follow the herd rather than choose a path to suit them.
Essentially, it looks like macho men sure have a mind of their own and would not take risks foolishly.
