 Lunchtime Coffee Reduces Diabetes Risk
A study from researchers of the University of Sao Paulo in Ribeirao Preto, Brazil has found that drinking coffee at lunchtime reduces the risk of diabetes.

The study followed 69,532 Frenchwomen, who were participating in a large European health and nutrition study. They assessed the coffee-drinking habits of the participants and found that people who drank coffee at lunchtime had a 33% reduced risk of diabetes.

This effect though was only seen with black coffee and not milky coffee as is consumed in India.

The details of the study appear in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
