Lindsay Lohan Suspected of Assault in Rehab

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan is being investigated for an alleged assault on a female staff member at the rehab centre, Betty Ford Centre in Palm Desert, California where she is receiving treatment.

The staff member had a dispute with Ms. Lohan because she came late to the clinic. The staff member said she wanted to pursue charges. However no arrests were made. Lohan has to remain in the rehab till January 3, 2011 as she was convicted for drink driving.

Betty Ford spokesman Russ Patrick said, “The staff member who had made the complaint had now been sacked for breaking patient confidentiality. The employee conducted an interview with celebrity website TMZ on Tuesday.”
