The British Heart Foundation has emphasized the importance of life-saving skills for children, after a survey showed that many children were at a loss in managing a medical emergency.

Life-saving skills will help children in responding intelligently to assist victims of heart attacks, choking, or bleeding. Perhaps the best way to teach children these skills is to include it in the curriculum.

Delyth Lloyd, public affairs manager at BHF Cymru, said "Carrying out this vital training in the classroom would empower thousands of people right across Wales to make a difference in their communities by helping others when they need it most."
