The British Airport is all set to verify the efficacy of a novel technology for lie detection which will be based on facial analysis.

This "real-time dynamic passive profiling" system is designed to analyze blood flow, alterations in temperature, eye movements and expressions of the individual.

This novel system is completely different from the conventional polygraph lie detector which requires the subjects to be wired up to many physiological detectors.

The advantage with this new lie detector is that the subjects are not required to be attached to a machine and this will help ascertaining the truth while the subjects are completely oblivious that they are being assessed.
