Junior Docs Decide to Cease Work
The West Bengal Junior Doctors' Council (WBJDC) is not in favor of the cease work action taken up by junior doctors who want a revision of their stipend amounts.

The WBJDC has said that it is against the cease work action and this has left the junior doctors divided.

"We have already met the state health minister with the demand to revise our stipend structure. The health department has already formed a committee to revise the stipend structure and we have been assured that new stipend structure would be implemented from 1 September. In such a situation, we oppose the cease work call," a spokesman for the WBJDC said.
