Cancer stricken Jade Goody will today undergo an emergency operation to repair a blocked kidney, according to reports.
The cause of the blockage is unclear but if untreated it can lead to kidney failure.The 27-year-old star, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer last August, will undergo the surgery at the Royal Marsden Hospital, central London.
"It needed to be done straight away," The Sun quoted a source as saying.
"Doctors will see how she feels afterwards before deciding if she can leave hospital," the source added.
