Brit women soon may have to give up wearing high heels, for the national trade union centre in the UK has called for a ban on the much loved footwear from work, insisting that they're dangerous for the ladies.
It has been claimed that that the Trace Union Council (TUC) has criticized bosses who order girls to wear stilettos.
The move comes after a study linked the footwear to back pain.
"These dress codes - apart from being sexist - can lead to foot and back problems," The Sun quoted General Secretary Brendan Barber, as saying.
"Staff should wear comfortable shoes," Barber added.
