Scientists have been busy taking computer systems to the next level of intuitive machines wherein it is capable of recognizing the emotional state of the person as well as respond to it according to the recognized mood.
Emotions such as doubt, anger and boredom can be picked by this new system. To recognize the emotional state of the user, the computer system makes a note of the tone and energy of voice and speed of their speech, duration of pauses, and the like.
Having created a statistic, the system keeps track of the speech to verify if the user's emotional state has altered.
Suppose the user's emotional state is negative, portraying a certain degree of frustration the computer may alter its response to make outputs appear simpler.
