India and China in Joint Health Sector Initiative

The health ministries of both India and China announced that they will continue to work together in improving the health sector in the developing countries after announcing reforms in population, development and reproductive health sectors during the 18th Executive Committee meeting of Partners in Population Development (PPD).

The meeting was held on June 23 and June 24 and was charged by the Indian Health Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad who said that it was the first time that the 25-member nation association agreed to revise the by-laws in the face of changing requirements.
