A new iPhone application named Wheelmap has been designed for wheelchair users. The sole purpose of this application is to make life easy for wheelchair users, supplying them with maps and information about restaurants in their area, cafes, museums and other places of interest, with respect to accessibility.

Color codes are used on the map to inform users about the extent of accessibility. The information is not restricted to any one place, and users can get to know about any place in the world.

This application owes its existence to a German, and therefore, the application has a lot of information about Germany, particularly Berlin. It is only a matter of time, when users will have access to information about other places as well.
