Hospital Door Hygiene Handled by Squirting Sanitizer
Door handle for hospitals automatically jets out a sterile gel on being pulled, a novel innovation by an inventor.
Aimed at killing germs, the Hygiene Handle is covered in 23 pressure points.

Matt Roberts, 31, said that he has already tried implementing the idea in two hospitals and he is hoping that the innovation will roll out nationally by the NHS.

"We have held handle trials in two hospitals and the feedback has been good," the Daily Mail quoted him as saying.

"Both hospitals have been really supportive and worked with me to refine the design."

"Having that support was essential to develop a product that was not only effective, but could be used in a healthcare environment."

The handle was tried in Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, and at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, in Winchester.
