Researchers at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston have revealed that the elderly are just as suited for knee or hip replacements as their younger counterparts.
The study involving 174 patients with an average age of 75 said that elderly suffering from arthritis had even chances of being able to tolerate the surgical procedures required for replacement.
