Glaxo Announces Will Remove Zinc From Denture Cream
Pharma major GlaxoSmithKiline PLC has announced that it was taking precautionary measures to remove zinc from its denture creams.

"We are taking these actions because we have become aware of potential health problems associated with the long-term excessive use of our zinc-containing denture adhesive products," the company said on its Web site.

Some of the products that contain zinc include Super PoliGrip Original, Ultra Fresh and Extra Care.

This measure was taken after it emerged that using products that contain zinc for a long time may cause health issues.
