 Former Cricket Captain Pataudi in Critical Condition in ICU
Former Indian cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi’s condition continues to worsen with the 70-year old being shifted to the ICU due to lung infection. He is said to be in a critical condition.
Pataudi had been admitted to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi last month and has now been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit after his condition worsened. The hospital issued a health bulletin on Wednesday, stating that his condition was serious and he was on a high level oxygen support.

“Mr. Pataudi continues to be critically ill in the intensive care unit of the hospital. He is on very high-level of oxygen support requiring intermittent Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BIPAP) support”, the hospital’s Senior Consultant and Pulmonology Chairman, Neeraj Jain said.

Dr Jain went on to add that Pataudi was conscious and his heart was in stable condition and said that he was being monitored by a team of pulmonologists and critical care specialists.
