A kiss-and-tell book by American guitarist Lindsey Buckingham’s ex-girlfriend is all set to open the lid on the musician’s cocaine spree during his halcyon days.
In the book ‘Storms: My Life with Lindsey Buckingham and Fleetwood’, Carol Ann Harris has revealed how Buckingham, a member of Fleetwood Mac, a popular Anglo-American band, had taken shots of Jack Daniel's and "California gold and guzzled beer, while attending the 1978 American Music Awards.Harris writes the year when the band had won the ‘Album of the Year’, Buckingham looked like a ‘character from a B movie’ moving towards the opposite side of the stage.
“Looking like a character from a B-movie who'd been shot . . . his superhuman effort was leading him to the opposite side of the stage,’ the New York post quoted Harris, as stating.
Harris caught up with the guitarist at host Dick Clark’s office, to see her beau seated on a couch staring at a mere of his own ‘disgusting biohazard’ vomit, upon the ‘foot-deep carpet’.
“(Clark) was staring at Lindsey as though he were something nasty that he just scraped off the bottom of his shoe,” she wrote.
The host’s guard got the rocker out of his room and as they hurried home, Buckingham continued to throw up in the Limo.

“Grinning like an inmate from an insane asylum. Don't tell me anything about last night,” she wrote.

“‘Oh, my God! Look at the [bleep]in' pancake makeup! It's gotta be four inches thick,’" Harris revealed.
As, Harris prayed that her ‘fairytale night’ shouldn’t spoiled by a brawl between the two, Buckingham said ‘Kenny, hey, Kennnnny! Man, love your makeup! Really, you look great, cowboy’.
“I really didn't want to have my fairytale night spoiled by a fight between Kenny Rogers and my man,” she wrote.
Harris added that Rogers chose not to fight.
