First Drive-through Pharmacy Commissioned in Britain
It was a momentous occasion as Britain witnessed the commissioning of its first drive-through pharmacy.

The Boots store located in Colchester enables customers to request their prescription at one window and collect it from another in record time. The pilot project, if found successful, might see many of its kind around the country in the future.

Matt Bearman, manager of the pharmacy in Colchester, Essex, said: "It is lightning fast.

Instead of fast food it is fast medicine."

Now, Essex town residents can pick up their prescriptions in the comfort of their car, thanks to this innovative idea of  Britain's first drive-through pharmacy.
