Hollywood actress Christina Applegate, who had undergone a double mastectomy in July, has said that fighting breast cancer "sucks."
However, the 'Samantha Who?' actress is bravely fighting the disease, and does not want to be termed a victim.
"I still have quite a process until this is done," US magazine quoted Christina, as telling the new issue of TV Guide.
"Yes, it's hard. It sucks. But I'm not a victim," she added.
She will undergo reconstructive surgery near her 37th birthday, at the end of November.
Applegate, who is a workaholic, revealed the cancer made her change her point of view in many ways.
"I started looking for a beach house the day I found out I had this little disease, you just kind of go, 'what are you waiting for to get the things that you want and the things you dream of?" she said.
"I don't own tomorrow or yesterday - today is all I've got, and if I don't make today good, then I'm only gonna' be pissed off tomorrow!" she added.
Applegate took time to grieve, as weeks before having both her breasts removed, two of her cats died and her ex-beau, Lee Grivas, was also found dead of an apparent drug overdose.
