 Fifty Percent of American High School Students Smoke, Drink, and Use Drugs
A new report has stated that close to 50% of all American high school students drink alcohol, do drugs, and smoke.
Addiction is a common problem among one out of four teens, especially among those who began drinking very early, much before they turned 18.

Substance abuse disorders is highly prevalent among youngsters and doctors advice that parents must do all they can to ensure children go through the teen years without using drugs or alcohol.

 Stephen Grcevich, MD, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, said, “Teen substance abuse is a huge problem.The numbers in the new report are very consistent with what we see in context of our practice and surrounding areas.”
