Female Role Helps Travolta Lose Weight
The star admits that having to wear a fat suit, dress, and high heels to portray female character Edna Turnblad in the 2007 remake of the iconic musical-turned-movie was the perfect combination to shed the pounds.
"You certainly sweat some because there's an added level of weight to carry around," Contactmusic quotes him as saying.
"It was very hot inside and I must have lost pounds and pounds," he adds.
