 Facebookers May Now Wield The Privacy Tool
Facebook has launched new privacy settings, giving its users more control of privacy.

The social networking giant, that boasts of nearly 350 million members, added a new feature that allows users to control each piece of content, from updates to photos.

The new publisher privacy control lets people tailor their posts for specific audiences.

"We believe users will feel comfortable sharing more," the BBC quoted a spokesperson as saying.

Elliot Schrage, vice president of communication, said: "We've always designed Facebook to enable people to control what information they share with whom... we will continue to innovate to serve users' changing needs."
