FDA Approves Auro’s Anti-allergic Syrup
Similar to McNeil Consumer Healthcare's Zyrtec syrup, the Cetirizine Hydrochloride Syrup provides relief from symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis such as repetitive sneezing, nasal congestion and itchy eyes.
Announcing the approval, the company released a statement in the Bombay Stock Exchange stating “The company has received final approval for Cetirizine Hydrochloride syrup from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).” It added that the approval was for the strength of 1mg/ml.
The company revealed that it has around 110 new drug applications with the FDA of which 82 have been awarded final approvals.
