Ex-boyfriends to Stand by Mischa Barton Following Her DUI Charges

Mischa Barton's ex-boyfriends, oil heir Brandon Davis and rocker Cisco Adler, have extended their support to the actress following her DUI arrest.

Davis said that he has experienced the same situation and is confident that the former O.C star is strong enough to handle it.

"I've been through the same thing and she's a good, strong person, Mischa. I'm sure she'll get through it," the New York Post quoted Barton, as saying.

Adler said: "I think she's beautiful and smart."

Barton was arrested and jailed for seven hours on Dec 27 for driving under the influence and possessing drugs.

The 21-year-old actress, who was also accused of driving without a valid licence, was pulled over at the corner of La Cienega and Santa Monica boulevards in Los Angeles.

According to L.A. County Sheriff's Department, the actress' vehicle was straddling two lanes of traffic and she failed to signal before making a left turn.

Police also said that the actress was in possession of marijuana and a controlled substance.

However, the actress was eventually released on 10,000 dollars bail and a court hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 28.
