Enjoy the Holiday Season Without Fear

The H1N1 flu as well as the seasonal flu have made most parents cautious about letting their children out during this holiday season. However experts say there is no need to panic and that kids can enjoy the season provided they take a few precautions.

Many young children will come into contact with Santas during the season and experts say these kids as well as the Santas need to get vaccinated. However the vaccine shortage may pose a problem.

Still healthy people will not have any trouble being with kids and these people can actually do without a vaccine for sometime. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has revealed that while the activity of the flu virus this season has quietened, but it is still higher than normal.

So parents, this holiday season, be concerned, but do not panic. If you kid is already sick, it may be better to stay at home.
