Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Has Launched Three Generic Drugs in the US Market

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories has launched three generic drugs in the US market which are used to treat central nervous system disorders.

Donepezil Hydrochloride tablets, Venlafaxine Hydrochloride extended release capsules and Letrozole tablets were the three drugs.

Indian pharma major Dr. Reddy's Laboratories will launch a first-of-its-kind pill to tackle heart diseases in the second half of 2007, it was announced Thursday.

Donepezil Hydrochloride pills in the potencies of 5mg and 10mg are generic editions of Eisai Pharma's Aricept. Venlafaxine Hydrochloride is a remake of Wyeth's Effexor XR. The extended release capsules are available in the potencies of 37.5mg, 75mg and 150mg. Letrozole tabs are a remake of Novartis' Femara and are available in the potency of 2.5mg.
