Dissatisfied Clive Owen Literally Pulls His Hair Out

Hollywood star Clive Owen spent an entire night pulling his hair out before commencing shooting his scenes as the historical hero Sir Walter Raleigh in the sequel to Shekhar Kapur's "Elizabeth”.

The hunky Briton had extensions added to his mane to make him look more like a sea-faring Renaissance man but he decided at the last minute that he hated the look, contactmusic.com reported.

Owen explained: "The night before we were starting the shoot, I kept thinking, `It's not right, it's not right'. I had full-on extensions through the whole hair.

"I told Shekhar, `I want to take more out. It feels like an actor in a period-film thing'. So I spent the night before that first day taking it all out."
