Sassoon General Hospital has been chosen to be the coordinator in disaster management Pune following the German Bakery blasts. the Hospital was choosen by a team of experts from the Centre of Disease Control (CDC), Atlanta, USA.
Dr Arun Jamkar, Dean, B J Medical College and Sassoon General hospital said that the move was part of the Indo-US initiative and that the team from CDC had held a meeting with private hospitals in the city at BJ Medical College.
