Diluting beer may be a good way to reduce the problems related to alcohol use in Finland.

It might be a good idea to follow the footsteps of Sweden in this regard, where alcohol available in grocery stores is diluted to 3.5 percent.

Recent research has also shown that reducing the alcohol percentage in drinks available in grocery stores will help bring down the consumption of alcohol by 9%.

It is estimated that with this move nearly 350 lives per year can be saved.
