More than 435million pound of 'mobility' components are going to junkies, alcoholics, asthmatics and people with unspecified back pain which is actually meant for disabled people. Ministers say official figures reveal that people claim the mobility benefits of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) demonstrates the need for urgent reform. More than half the people who got the claim simple had to fill up a form and have never been asked to attach any evidence to support their claim.
