Two Czech boys, aged 8 and 10, have claimed that they were forced to eat their own flesh by their mum and relatives from the sick Grail cult.
According to a shocking social services report, sent to the court and published by local media, the boys were locked up for a year in a cupboard by their family and were only allowed out for torture sessions in the cellar dungeon.
AdvertisementSocial worker Ludmila Nemcova who cared for Ondrej, 8, and his brother Jakub, 10, revealed the lads' torment.
Nemcova said in the report that Ondrej spent 'most of the time' locked in the cupboard.
"He told me that he was kept in a cupboard almost all the time," The Sun quoted Nemcova, as saying.
According to the report, relatives had partially skinned Ondrej and then forced him to eat his own raw human flesh.
Nemcova had been called out by cops to the house after they had discovered images of Ondrej naked and tied up in a dark room.
"He told me how his mum tied him up, locked him away and abused him," she said.
"He said that she forced him to eat all his food really quickly before it was taken away and he ended up back in the cupboard," she added.
The two boys spoke of the experience how their mother and relatives had stubbed cigarettes out on their bare skin, whipped them with belts, and tried to drown them.
They also claim to have been sexually abused and were forced to cut themselves with knives.
The sick abuse, which took place for almost a year between 2006 and 2007, involved keeping them caged or handcuffed to tables and made to stand in their own urine for days.
In a bid to stop them from escaping, the family either kept them in locked cupboard, or else monitored on a wireless video camera.
However, the ordeal ended when a neighbour of their mother installed a similar camera - and picked up the image of Ondrej naked, bound and gagged, and informed police.
Now, mum Klara Mauerova and sister Katerina and four others are now on trial facing charges of torturing the boys.
