The diet was termed as "confusing and very rigid" by BDA who pointed out that even its creator, Dr Pierre Dukan admitted that people who followed the diet will have to deal with bad breath, fatigue and constipation.

"There is absolutely no solid science behind this at all. This works on restricting foods, calories and portion control again. Once again, cutting out food groups is not advisable", BDA said it its report.

Alcorexia or Drunkorexia Diet was the second in the list with the experts claiming that people would be "blind drunk" to follow this diet. The diet involves consuming very low calories through eating and instead the "saved up" calories could be got through binge drinking.

A number of top models reportedly follow the diet to keep slim and at the same time indulge their partying lifestyle. Blood group diet, raw food diet and baby food diet make up the numbers in the list of top five worst celebrity diets.
